The Adoption Institute was proud and honored to host President Clinton at a reception on November 17. The former President discussed his long-standing commitment to children in need of loving homes. He told the audience that it was his wife, Hillary, who first brought to his attention the inequalities in the foster care system and barriers to adoption from it – obstacles that they worked to overcome when he was governor of Arkansas and when they went to the White House.
