Delaware Del. Code , Title 13, sec. 923 Adoptee age 21 or older may obtain orginal birth certificate; Birth parent may, with written notarized statement, deny release of information.
Kansas Kan. Stat. Ann. § 59-2122. Adult adoptee may request copy of original birth certificate.
Montana Mont. Code Ann. § 40-8-126. Adult adoptee may request copy of birth certificate if adopted pre-1967 or post- 1997.
Ohio Ohio Rev. Code Ann. §§ 3107.17, 3107.121, 3107.40 Adult adoptee may request copy of birth certificate if adopted pre-1964 or post 3/21/97.
Tennessee Tenn. Code Ann. § 36-1-127 Adult adoptees age 21 years or older may access their adoption records. Birth parents may prohibit contact from adoptees by filing a contact veto.
