If you are a new user, these instructions will guide you through the process of registering and contributing to the discussions.
Registration Instructions
This is the step-by-step registration instructions for all users of the
Ethics and Adoption Post- Conference Discussion Board.
1) Click on the "ENTER THE BULLETIN BOARD NOW" link found on this page
2) Click on the word 'register' (upper right). Access to this board is
limited to Ethics Conference attendees and other select individuals.
Therefore, a registration and password assignment process is required.
3) Read the Rules, Policies, and Disclaimers and if you agree, then click
'Agree' at the bottom.
4) Fill out your profile information. Fields with an asterisk (*) next to
them are required (ie. Name, Email). Every other field is optional (ie.
"Occupation", "ICQ number", etc). Make sure to enter an email address you
can access right away. Your PASSWORD will be emailed to this address and
will be a combination of numbers and letters. You can change this password
later using "Submit Profile Information' to a password you can more easily
remember .
5) After you receive your password through your email, you can return to the
Post Conference Discussion Board page. Do not lose this password. You will
be asked for this password each time you log on to the Bulletin Board.
6) Click on the word 'profile' (next to 'register')
7) Enter your username (which you chose when you registered) and password
(given to you in the email).
8) On the next page you can change any of your profile information including
your password.
9) After submitting this information, you are ready to begin posting.
Instructions for Using the
Ethics and Adoption Post-Conference Bulletin Board
If you were a registered participant of the Ethics and Adoption Conference, you will receive a forum password (different from your personal password) which will allow you to post on this bulletin board. You will need to keep the FORUM PASSWORD handy every time you post topics or replies (unless you're a discussion board administrator or moderator).
1. To participate, click on the title of the particular forum in which
you want to participate.
2. At the next screen, you have two choices:
A. To reply to a thread that has already been started, click on the
Topic folder and then select "Post Reply" from the upper
right hand screen.
B. To start a new topic, select "Post New Topic" from the upper
right hand screen.
