FACULTY MEMBER BACKGROUND

Joe Kroll

As the Executive Director Of the North American Council on Adoptable Children, Mr. Kroll has worked to push legislation reform and increase placement in adoptive families of waiting special needs children. He also provides training, assistance and consultation to advocates, adoptive and foster parents, social workers, and administrators on a wide range of adoption issues. Mr. Kroll has published several works dealing with the subject, his most recent being There is a Better Way: Family Based Alternatives to Institutional Care. Besides being a founding member for both Voice for Adoption and the Citizen's Coalition on Permanence for Children, of which he is now president, Mr. Kroll is an active member of RESPOND, the CWLA Adoption Task Force, the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, and the NRCSNA, among others.
