Part II: Description of Exhibit
Please attach to the cover sheet a description of your exhibit that does not exceed one page. Descriptions of exhibits that are selected will be included in the conference program materials available to all conference attendees. Your description should follow this format:
The heading of the exhibit should include the following information:
Title of the Exhibit (type in capital letters and center)
Name(s) of Exhibitors
Name of adoption/child welfare/academic/other organization(s) with which affiliated, if any, including city, state, and telephone number. If no such affiliation, include other contact information (address and telephone number).
Type of exhibit; key features, findings, innovations
The relevance of the exhibit to one or more of the four conference topics:
- Autonomy in Adoption: Issues for Adopted
Persons, Birth Parents, and Adoptive Parents
How the information provided in the exhibit contributes to the advancement of ethical adoption practice and/or policy.
- The Role of Ethnicity in Adoption
- The Market Forces in Adoption
- Adoption and Reproductive Technology
Use 8.5 x 11 plain white paper
Margins (top, bottom, left and right) of at least 1 inch
12 point font in a customary font face (no fancy fonts please)
Submit four stapled copies of application materials.
Include with your application a stamped, self address business envelope/#10 for correspondence with primary exhibitor.
